Enjoy the sights and sounds of the Smart Solar Green Ceramic Cascade Fountain in your yard or outdoor seating area. Water tumbles from one green-glazed ceramic vessel to the next and then recycles back to the top via a hidden solar-powered pump. The solar panel can be placed up to 10 feet from the water fountain and moved to capture maximum power from the sun's rays. The bowls lift out of the weather-resistant metal frame for easy storage and maintenance. Each small bowl measures 6 inches in diameter and 5 inches deep. The large bowl is 10 inches in diameter and seven inches deep. The paint used on this fountain is lead-free and will not harm animals if they should drink from it.
Maximize effectiveness by placing the solar panel in full sunlight, avoiding shade. Angle the solar panel each season to absorb maximum sunlight. The panel can be wall-mounted, stand-mounted, or standing alone with the included hardware for a variety of placement options. A 16-foot cord attaches to the solar panel, making it easy to position almost anywhere. This product carries a two-year warranty.

It is recommeneded to use distilled or rain water to prevent scale build up. If, after a period of time, the pump start to lose pwer or stops working check for builddup of sediment, scale or dirrt in the filter housing and in the bottom of the pump housing. Open the filter housing and clean the filter. Remove the pump cover and clean the filter. Remove the pump cover at it's base, take out the impeller and remove any sediment, scale or dirt that has built up. Re-fit the impeller, pump cover and filter housing.
The solar panel should be cleaned periodically with a soft tissue and proprietary glass cleaning solution. Regular cleaning of the panel is advised to maintain optimum coversion of the sun's energy into direct current.
