Looks cheap and sound is monotone. Too much money for the size and material. Would not recommend unless product is totally hidden by foliage, and sound is not important.

With the right plants the fountain can be made attractive. The color is 90% black and it is completely made of thick plastic. More water makes it less hollow sounding. All in all it will do, in the right place.

Perfect in our front garden to welcome our guests.The sound of the water is delightful and we added Ivy plants on either side to dress it up!

Usefullness: The product is attractive. My wife & I have ours placed at the corner of our lower deck near our deck table/umbrella so the trickling water can be heard & enjoyed by family a guests that we entertain.

Pros: We found the pump to be quiet, but we did adjust the pump pressure to avoid water slashing into the two plant receptacles, which worked fine.

Cons: The power cord does not have an inline on/off switch on it. We have it plugged into a nearby GFI outlet, but need to unplug the Kettle Fountain when not in use. The handles are for decoration only, as they are not one piece & can not be used to lift or move the Kettle Fountain. Wish they were more durable for that use. Lastly, there is no drainage for the plant receptacles. We used normal plants at first, but when it rains, the soil gets waterlogged & the plants die. We should have used water or pond type plans that can handle the excess water. We didn't think drilling drain holes in the bottom of the two plant receptacles was an option because they would drain into the main kettle & didn't want to plug up the pump with soil or dirt particles.
