This fountain looks like an Aztec sculpture you might see in a museum. We have it in our entryway, so everyone is greeted with an artfully designed scuplture, and the sounds of a babbling brook. It looks great with a nice green plant next to it and some of the leaves draping over it. Plus, it is durable and sturdy! It easily held up to three grandkids who wanted to play in the water (and we let them, with supervision). Two concerns: 1-It frequently splashes droplets outside the bowls, and soon there is a small puddle on the floor next to it. We put some absorbent mats on the vinal flooring there, and that seems to solve the problem. I wouldn't recommend this on carpet. 2-Cleaning is a question mark. The internal workings are only accessable through a 4x5 inch hole in the side. But that is probably good enough for the job (we haven't had to clean it yet). Overall, it's great! It fills the area with a pleasant sound and solid beauty.
